- This beach also known as Besant Nagar Beach or Bessie and It is located at Besant Nagar, Chennai.
- Considerably it is smaller than the marina beach in size but this beach also crowded in the evening.
- Unlike Marina beach, Bessie beach surrounded with many restaurants near the beach,so you can find many morning walkers and the beach is very clean.

- ECR means 'East Coast Road' - It is a highway road in Tamil Nadu, That starts from Tiruvanmiyur(in Chennai) to Kanyakumari(other end of tamilnadu) built along the coast of the Bay of Bengal.
- Since this ECR road is very near to 'Bay of Bengal' from chennai (less than 1 km),it is very easy to access the beach.But these beaches not crowded as like Merina,Bessy but it is clean,sandy and good place for relax or to have fun with friends.
